Demon Slayer Mugen Train Episode 4 Delayed By Japanese Elections

Demon Slayer TV Mugen Train arc

Aniplex announced that Fuji Television delayed the fourth episode of the Mugen Train arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Initially scheduled for October 31, 2021, the episode will now air the week after, on November 7, 2021. Even though Demon Slayer is one of the most popular franchises nowadays, it still has to give way to the live coverage of elections for the Japanese House of Representatives.

This delay will also affect other TV channels airingĀ Demon Slayer in Japan, such as Tokyo MX, AT-X, and Animax. Even though the channels have been airing the episodes around a week later than Fuji TV, this delay forces them to move the fourth episode back another week. While Funimation and Crunchyroll are also airing the show for the West, it is currently unknown whether this delay will also impact the English broadcasts or not.

The Mugen Train arc had previously appeared as a movie in 2020. The movie became one of the most grossing anime movies in both Japanese and US box offices. The arc now comprises the first part of the anime’s second season. The Entertainment District arc will follow through in December 2021.

The Mugen Train story arc is also available inĀ Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles. The franchise’s first-ever console game is immediately available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. However, Aniplex and Sega have advised against streaming stages based on the arc due to spoiler concerns.
