A DVD and Blu-ray release for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train is scheduled for June 16, 2021. A total of four different versions will be available in Japan. Regular and limited editions will be available for both the Blu-ray and DVD releases. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
As mentioned previously, a total of four versions will be available to purchase, with two options being available for both Blu-ray and DVD. The standard edition of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train for Blu-ray will cost ¥4,400 (or approximately $40) while the DVD version will cost ¥3,850 (or $35). The Blu-ray limited edition will cost ¥9,900 (or $90), and the DVD limited edition will cost ¥8,800 (or approximately $80).
The limited edition versions of the film will include a three sided box featuring a new illustration, audio commentary from the cast, a special booklet, a bonus CD, and a music collection CD. However, these benefits are subject to change.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train is the highest grossing Japanese film to date. The film broke several box office records, including most profitable Japanese film of all time, and fastest grossing Japanese film of all time.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train released to Japanese cinemas on October 16, 2020. A North American release is scheduled for early 2021.
