Aniplex officially announced the two Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba games, one for PS4 and the other for smartphones.
The asymmetric battle survival action game, Demon Slayer: Keppu Kengeki Royal, will release first in 2020 for smartphones. The demon-slaying battle action title Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan will follow in 2021 for PlayStation 4.
Demon Slayer: Keppu Kengeki Royal is an asymmetric battle survival action game. It’s an asymmetric multiplayer title that splits players into groups of Demon Slayer Corps and Demons. Members of the Demon Slayer Corps must work with allies in order to destroy the Demons. Meanwhile, the Demons must destroy the Demon Slayer Corps that stand before them.
As far as gameplay goes, it features maps based on the world of the original work. It will depict a battle between the Demon Slayers and the man-eating Demons, with character skills and weapons.
Demon Slayer: Keppu Kengeki Royal will release for iOS and Android devices in Japan in 2020.
Lastly, in Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan you will “become the blade that destroys demons”. The game follows the TV anime of Demon Slayer on PlayStation 4. In order to save his sister Nezuko who has turned into a demon, Tanjiro Kamado joins the Demon Slayer Corps to take out the demons.
Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan will release for the PlayStation 4 in 2021.
