An escape room experience based off of the Natagumo Mountain Arc in Demon Slayer will start from June 10, 2021. To participate in “The Escape From Demon-Infested Natagumo Mountain,” one needs to purchase a ticket and set from the Scrap Good Shop online store or a physical shop. From then, you simply need a smartphone, PC, or tablet, and then you can enjoy the escape room from anywhere with as many people as you like. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
The game allows you to play as a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. By reading through documents and solving puzzles, you can help to defeat the spider demons that live on Natagumo Mountain. Demon Slayer characters such as Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Giyu all appear throughout the course of the escape room’s story. As well, the characters are all voiced, with voice actors from the anime reprising their roles. In addition, there are 8 types of merchandise that are only available during the escape room’s run.
The items are:
- Acrylic keyholders (800 JPY each)
- Badges (500 JPY each)
- Bathtowel (3000 JPY)
- Clear folder set (4000 JPY)
- Clear folders with riddles attached (1000 JPY each)
- Memo pad (800 JPY)
- Successful escape sticker set (300 JPY)
- Wooden stand (1500 JPY)
The escape room game set costs 3400 JPY (roughly $34). The special edition costs 6400 JPY (roughly $58), and it comes with a wooden box similar to the one that Nezuko always sits in. Sets are available for purchase from May 24 to August 28, 2021, and the Demon Slayer escape room starts from June 10 at noon.
