Demon’s Souls Japanese Voice Acting Will Appear in the PS5 Remake

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced through the Japanese PlayStation Blog that the PlayStation 5 remake of Demon’s Souls will include Japanese voice acting. This is a new addition to the title, since the original PlayStation 3 game only had English voiceovers.

The main highlights of theĀ Demon’s Souls Japanese voice cast feature Saori Hayami as the Maiden in Black, Ryoko Shiraishi as the Monumental, Katsuhisa Hoki as Old King Allant, Fumiko Orikasa as Maiden Astraea, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Ostrava of Boletaria, and Ken Narita as the Crestfallen Warrior. The cast will also include Kazuhiko Inoue, Nobutoshi Canna, Taitem Kusunoki, Mie Sonozaki, Ryota Takeuchi, Mutsumi Tamura, Cho, Rica Fukami, Issei Futamata, Kotono Mitsuishi, Masuo Amada, Nobuaki Kanemitsu, Naomi Kusumi, Katsuhiko Sasaki, Toshiko Sawada, Masanori Takeda, Mitsuaki Hoshino, and Hiroshi Yanaka.

In addition to the Japanese voice cast, Japan will also receive the remake’s original soundtrack earlier on November 18, 2020. You can also read on how the remake will make use of the PS5’s hardware and how the character creator will have millions of permutations.

TheĀ Demon’s Souls remake will be available for PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020; the same day the console launches first in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. The PlayStation 5 will be available in the rest of the world a week later on November 19, 2020.
