deathloop release date

We know when we’ll get to play one of the PlayStation 5 console exclusive games! Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks confirmed the Deathloop release date. After being pushed into Q2 2021, the PS5 and PC game will definitely appear on May 21, 2021.

The announcement was paired with, as you might have guessed, a new trailer. It reminds people that Blackreef island is a place where a time loop keeps repeating. Players follow Colt, an assassin with eight people he has to kill in one day to stop the loop. Or, if you’re interested in some multiplayer and would prefer, you can step into Julianna’s shoes and try to hunt him down and keep him from breaking the cycle.

Here’s the Deathloop release date trailer. Colt narrates everything going on, though we do get to see Julianna appear after the 13 second mark.

As a reminder, the game ended up missing the PS5 launch window as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Arkane noted that having the team work from home resulted in some delays, and it wanted to be sure the final product was everything people expected.

The PlayStation 5 and PC Deathloop release date is now May 21, 2021. It will be a timed console exclusive.
