A skeleton rises up against its hostile, bony brethren, fighting through a bleak underworld using its varied elemental powers in action/exploration game After Death.
The protagonist, a skeleton that has lost its memories, seeks to escape the underworld with the help of souls it’ll find along the way. To find those souls and escape, it will need to fight other dead creatures that lie in its path, using its fists to beat them down.
Alongside its knuckles, the skeleton can also use elemental powers that will have effects on the environments as well as their opponents. It can use ice to freeze rivers, allowing it to cross, and fire to set certain objects aflame, which will be used to help the player navigate the game’s sprawling, interconnected world.
After Death, which draws inspiration from Castlevania IV and Super Metroid, has already passed through Greenlight and is projected to release sometime in 2017.
