One of Too Kyo Games and Izanagi Games’ projects went through a name change ahead of launch. Death March Club has now become World’s End Club. But, that’s not the only shift. The Kotaro Uchikoshi and Kazutaka Kodaka adventure is now also showing up on Apple devices via the Apple Arcade subscription service on September 4, 2020. [Thanks, Touch Arcade!]
The Apple Arcade App Store listing is available already for World’s End Club, offering a peek at some screenshots, a better look at character portraits for ten of our heroes, and details about what you might need to play. (Well, beyond the obvious active Apple Arcade subscription.) This will be a 2.7GB download that will be playable on iPhones, iPod Touches, iPads, Apple TVs, and Macs. It will also be available in 14 languages at launch.
World’s End Club follows the Go-Getters Club, a group of twelve elementary school students. They’re stuck playing the Fate Game after their bus gets in an accident while they’re heading out in a field trip. If they want to figure out what’s going on and perhaps get out of a strange undersea amusement park, they’ll have to play along with the strange clown’s game.
Here are a few App Store screenshots that provide a better look at the adventure.
World’s End Club will appear for Apple Arcade subscribers on Apple devices on September 4, 2020. Apple Arcade costs $4.99 per month and has a one-month free trial, though you can also get a year’s subscription for $49.99. Death March Club, when it was first announced, was only referred to as a PC game.
