Kinetic visual novel Dead End Junction uses its fictional Wild West setting to delve into various themes, from the treatment of Native Americans during the Old West (represented by the Fuuro) to life in the aftermath of civil war (represented by the Border War).

Jo, the heroine of the story, will come across many people suffering from the issues surrounding the game’s theme as she looks for her “no-good and nowhere to be found father.” Her search will show her their plights, as well as tell a story that is light, humorous, and fun as well, attempting to subtly explore those themes.
