By The cult PsOne RPG Over My Dead Body is getting a sequel for PlayStation Vita. Sony Computer Entertainment dated Over My Dead Body 2 for July 17. The game will cost 5,800 yen in stores or 5,184 yen as a PlayStation Network download. Reserve the game and you’ll get a special comic book. Early purchases include a code to download a rare goddess.
A limited edition which includes a Vita pouch, decorative sticker for your Vita, strap, and a cleaning cloth is 7,800 yen.
Sony plans to push Over My Dead Body 2 by letting players try the game out for themselves. A demo scheduled for April 24 will let players try the first year of the game. Between May 8 and July 16, Sony will release a new demo of Over My Dead Body 1 for PSP. Players will be able to beat Over My Dead Body with some restrictions. A second demo for Over My Dead Body 2 will be released in early July and players will be able to transfer save data from the demo into the full game.
