Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation Heads West In Summer 2019

The Date A Live series is getting localized. Idea Factory International has announced it will bring Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation to the PlayStation 4 and PC in Summer 2019. The PlayStation 4 version will be available both digitally and physically.

Date A Live is a romantic visual novel series that is set in a world where spatial quakes occur and cause damage in the real world. Shido Itsuka is a young man who has the ability to seal the spirits that cause these spatial quakes by having them fall in love with him.

The PlayStation 4 and PC Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation collection has the two PlayStation 3 games, Date A Live: Rinne Utopia and Date A Live: Arusa Install, as well as the Rio Reincarnation sequel, meaning there are 11 characters to date and over 150 dating events. It will have Japanese voice acting. While the PlayStation 4 version will only have English subtitles, the PC release will have English and Traditional Chinese subtitles.

Date A Live: Rinne Utopia and Date A Live: Arusa Install are immediately available on the PlayStation 3 in Japan. Date A Live Twin Edition: Rio Reincarnation is immediately available on the PlayStation Vita in Japan. Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC in Summer 2019.
