Dark Souls With Artorias DLC Sells Through 75% Of Shipment In Japan

Dark Souls with Artorias of the Abyss Edition was released in Japan last week and sold 67,002 copies. Considering that this was effectively a simple budget re-release of the game with the Artorias DLC included, 67k is a pretty decent sales figure, and a testament to how popular From Software’s new series is.

Sales tracker, Media Create, say that Dark Souls with Artorias of the Abyss Edition sold through 74.44% of its shipment in its first week.

The original release of Dark Souls, which happened about a year ago in September 2011, sold 279,567 copies at launch with a 90.09% sell-through. By the end of 2011, that release went on to sell 353,549 copies.
