Dark Souls II is coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The re-release is a compilation titled Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin and will be available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Scholar of the First Sin will have the usual bells and whistles on the aforementioned platforms—the three DLC chapters that are currently available for Dark Souls II, an expanded story featuring additional in-game events, a new NPC, and gameplay improvements. If you already own Dark Souls II, the new features will be patched in.

In addition to the above, the PC, Xbox One and PS4 versions will also see a graphical upgrade, and an increase in maximum online players in a single session to six in total.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin will be available April 7th in America.
