Dai from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai and Jotaro Kujo from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure have been confirmed for Jump Force, thanks to an accidental early reveal via the official Bandai Namco US Instagram account. [Thanks, YonkouProductions on Twitter!]
Dai is the titular character of Dragon Quest spinoff manga The Adventure of Dai, which ran in Shonen Jump from 1989 to 1996. The manga is one of the magazine’s best-selling series of all time, with over 50 million tankobon copies sold, and the series also received an anime series and anime film series based on the anime.
While Jotaro was not explicitly mentioned in the post, he can be found in one of the photos that shows the large panoramic image of the Jump Force cast. Bandai Namco US’ Instagram post has since been deleted.
Jump Force releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15, 2019. The game releases in Japan on February 14, 2019 for PS4.
