Leading up to the release of the upcoming DLC expansion, CD Projekt Red released the launch trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty which highlights more story details about V’s mission to save the NUSA President.

The launch trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty can be viewed below:

Phantom Liberty puts the player character V into the role of a spy working in the corrupt district of Dogtown to uncover a plot to take out the NUSA President. V must forge alliances with potential enemies and allies alike, embark on a high-stakes espionage mission, and untangle the complicated web of lies, loyalties, and political manipulations that threaten V. Familiar characters like Johnny Silverhand and Rosalind Myers return in this DLC expansion while new ones like Song So-Mi and Solomon Reed will have their stories revealed.

Phantom Liberty was first announced back in 2022 which revealed Idris Elba would be playing Solomon. During the June 2023 Xbox Games Showcase, the release date and platforms for the DLC expansion was revealed. A brand new trailer released during gamescom 2023, showing off new weapons, vehicles, and skills for the player to utilize in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The Phantom Liberty DLC expansion launches on September 26, 2023 for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
