CyberConnect2 Selling Illustrations To Support Japan Earthquake Victims

Over a year later, CyberConnect2 are still conducting charity projects to support victims of Japan’s 2011 Touhoku earthquake. This time, in order to help support earthquake victims, CyberConnect2 will be selling original illustrations on Gumroad, an online e-commerce service.

All profits gained from this initiative will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society, CC2 informed Siliconera in an e-mail. The charity initiative, dubbed the “Mamoru Reconstruction Assistance Project,” is being conducted in English, and you can find the illustrations on sale here.

As of May 2012, CC2 say they’ve donated 284,076 yen ($3,633) in total. This isn’t the first time they’ve carried out disaster relief activities. When the earthquakes occurred last year, CyberConnect2 opened their studio up to the general public to accommodate people that had been affected. Then, in April 2011, they conducted a disaster relief fund where they donated all profits to the Japanese Red Cross.
