For Medianne to pass her magic test, she’ll need to ascend a tower filled with pits, platforms, and strange creatures. She won’t be able to do it on her own, though, and will need the help of various cute, helpful spirits she meets along the way in Magical X Spiral.
Medianne will meet many different spirits, all of whom live in the tower she is climbing for her magic test. By becoming friends with them, she can use some of their powers, such as fire, stone, and other abilities, to help deal with the monsters in her path.
By sticking with any one spirit’s magic and using it repeatedly, she can build up a synchro rate, which will let Medianne summon that spirit for an extremely powerful attack.
Players will gain coins as they beat any particular stage as well, letting them boost their stats and acquire new spells and abilities as well.
