Crunchyroll Anime Promotion Comes to Hot Topic for Ani-May

Crunchyroll announced it will team up with Hot Topic for an Ani-May anime merchandise promotion. The company announced that throughout May 2023, people who shop at the store in Canada and the US and buy anime-related items will get 30 days free of Crunchyroll premium and an unspecifed sticker as a “gift.” It also noted that select stores in Mexico, Europe, and South America will also participate in certain ways. The official Crunchyroll online storefront will also give Hime pins to everyone who spends $75 there.

Crunchyroll announced specific anime series’ merchandise will appear at stores like Hot Topic, HMV, FNAC, and Cuidado con el Perro, depending on the country. In particular, it noted we will find items from Attack on Titan, Cowboy Bebop, Jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero Academia. Depending on the country, different offers will be available. At Hot Topic, you’ll be able to get free Crunchyroll Premium for 30 days and a sticker if you buy anime items, and you’ll also see window displays with featured series. People in the UK who stop at HMV will see merchandise. The FNAC I’illa in Barcelona, Spain, FNAC Temes in Paris, France, and FNAC San Augustin in Valencia, Spain will sell items and let people win the Crunchyroll Premium 30 day trial. Italy’s Games Academy Funside will sell items and offer the free gift. Germany’s Thalia will offer manga. In Mexico’s Cuidado con el Perro, Brazil’s Piticas, and Chile, Colombia, and Peru’s Falabella, you’ll find items from Crunchyroll.

The Crunchyroll Ani-May event will run in stores like Hot Topic and HMV until May 31, 2023. The Crunchyroll store’s Hime pin offer will be available while supplies last in May 2023.
