Zack Fair's story will be told again, as Square Enix announced a Crisis Core FFVII remaster is on the way.

Crisis Core FFVII Reunion Remaster Announced

At the Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Celebration Broadcast, Square Enix revealed a Crisis Core FFVII Reunion remaster. It will be on the PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in Winter 2022.

Some initial screenshots of the Crisis Core FFVII Reunion remaster were later shared by the Summer Game Fest Twitter account.

Crisis Core: FFVII first appeared on the PSP. It is a prequel that follows Zack Fair as he deals with characters like Sephiroth, Genesis, Angeal, Aerith, and Cloud. It never appeared on any digital storefronts and was only available on UMD.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII debuted on the PSP in Japan in 2007 before appearing worldwide in 2008. Crisis Core FFVII Reunion will appear on the PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in Winter 2022.
