By John suffers from a deep depression, one that seems to be cured when he meets Lizzie. However, as Lizzie’s violent, less stable tendencies start to appear, its turns their connection into a potentially-lethal affair in visual novel Crimson Gray.
Neither Lizzie nor John are in a good state, but they wish to help each other. However, Lizzie is quite willing to murder to keep John happy, and so the player must very carefully make any and all decisions in the game. Both John and Lizzie will have their mental states affected by any calls the player makes, and with such a volatile lover, players will want to take a great deal of care to ensure people survive their time with her.
Crimson Gray does not make its decisions black and white, though. The game is designed around subtle decisions and effects that are difficult to predict. The smallest call could have drastic effects near the end of the game.
