Crimson Gem Saga Gets Chatty

Atlus is polishing Crimson Gem Saga before it comes out here on May 26. In addition to a new localization the US version will have over 1,000 more voiced text. Not bad considering buying Atlus’ version is cheaper than importing the existing Asia version localized into English by SK Telecom.

I hope Atlus also toned down is the game’s difficulty. The Astonishia Story 2 Korean demo was just brutal if a monster caught up to you. Oh wait, maybe I shouldn’t have called Crimson Gem Saga a sequel to Astonishia Story. Atlus says, “Forget what you know about the series because this is a totally new experience.  With a complete graphical facelift, a brand new story and cast, and newly polished combat, this is a game that blows right past its predecessor.” A subtle burn to Astonishia Story, but a valid point. Crimson Gem Saga is nothing like Astonishia Story.
