Animal Crossing New Horizons - Island Tour Creator

Nintendo has launched a time-limited Island Tour Creator site related to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The webpage is available in multiple languages, including English.

The Island Tour Creator letsĀ Animal Crossing: New Horizons players create promotional materials that showcase their islands. Players can generate either a simple poster with a screenshot and a tagline, or create a more elaborate trailer that utilizes both still images and videos.

The main features of the webpage can only be accessed through smartphones. The creation tool also requires a Nintendo Account. When viewing the site through a PC or any other platform, it will instead show a QR code intended to be scanned from a phone.

The system will only accept screenshots and videos transferred directly from the Switch console without any external modifications. It’s worth nothing that videos must be at least ten seconds long. Players are allowed to use files that have been transferred to the mobile device or posted to Twitter with one of the official hashtags related to the title, such as #AnimalCrossing and #ACNH.

After the files are successfully submitted, the system generates the content in around five to ten minutes. Once completed, the player can save the finalized file from the designated page. However, player files only remain on the servers for 48 hours.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is immediately available for Nintendo Switch worldwide. The most recent update to the game, released on March 18, 2021, brought more improvements to the Custom Design app while adding support to the Island Tour Creator site, which is available until December 31, 2021.
