Cover CEO Asks About US Hololive Brand Collaborations

Hololive brand collaboration

Yagoo wants to know about American brands. In a tweet posted on February 18th, Cover Corporation CEO Motoaki “Yagoo” Tanigo solicited feedback from English-speaking fans about the US-based brands. Specifically, he wanted to know about which brands fans might want to see collaborate with the VTubers of Hololive Production. Cover is the parent company of Hololive, and would thus be in a position to propose Hololive brand collaborations if the need arose.

In his tweet, Tanigo also included a link to a post on professional-oriented social network LinkedIn, which featured a Google form. You can access the form directly via this link. Note that the form itself is designed for interested companies to propose to Hololive, rather than for fans to suggest actual Hololive brand collaborations with. Tanigo did not specify which Hololive VTubers might be involved with a potential collaboration.

To date, many Hololive brand collaborations have featured Japanese and Asian companies, or the Japanese sides of larger multinational brands. These include promotions for Marvel Studios films like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, or with Studio Khara to promote Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time. Other collaborations include appearances by Hololive characters in various games via special events, like CounterSide‘s addition of Hololive English Myth characters to its roster. Even the US-based Innersloth, developers of Among Us, created character costumes based on Hololive VTubers.
