GrindHouse announced today that Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient on PC is getting revamped through the circle’s new engine that will bring new scenario and overall enhanced looks.
To catch you up to speed, Corpse Party 2 released in Japan way back in 2013 for PC, but due to it being quite buggy the developers decided to redo it all on a new engine before moving onto the sequel, Chapter 2.
According to the message from the circle, Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient will be reborn as Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient Neues;, based on the completion of their new “KENIX Engine NEUES” that will bring additional scenario, game characteristics, play value, and most of all—powered up depiction of fear and gore.
The revamped Corpse Party 2 will add new characters, new scenarios, new stills, and more.
Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient – Chapter 1 is expected to release in Japan this July with the renewed improvements. No word has been shared about its anticipated sequel, Chapter 2, so fans will have to wait a little longer for more info on that.
