Larian Studios has announced that its isometric RPG Divinity: Original Sin will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But not only that, console players will get the Enhanced Edition of the game, which will also be heading to PC platforms. It will be free to everyone who has already bought the game on PC – note that this isn’t merely an update, but will be a completely standalone game.

This Enhanced Edition includes controller support (of course), local co-op with split screen, fully voiced characters, enhanced graphics and sound effects, as well as new gameplay modes and character builds. Plus, it will have a totally reworked story with new quests, characters, and other content, as well as a completely new ending to discover. Larian Studios says that there’s more to be announced for this Enhanced Edition too, with reveals to be expected at E3 in June.

Divinity: Original Sin is an RPG made in the “classic” style, with tactical turn-based combat, an isometric viewpoint, classless character development, and plenty of choice and consequence situations around its large fantasy world. As well as a single player mode, it supports online multiplayer (with local multiplayer only available in the Enhanced Edition) that not only lets you share battles but also supports a co-op dialogue system.
