Square Enix hasn’t said much about what’s new in Chrono Trigger DS. There is a multiplayer mode, but it can represent anything from co-op dungeons set in a mysterious time zone to training Crono’s cat to fight like Whytkin in Final Fantasy IV. The official Japanese site gives us a smidgen of information since Chrono Trigger DS is only listed to support up to two players. We may not know what the multiplayer support represents, but it’s not going to include a portable “party” game collection. Sorry, if you were dreaming about a four player Millennium Fair foot race.
