Compile Heart Will Announce the Final Numbered Game in a Popular Series This Month

Compile Heart

Last month, following the announcement that Dengeki PlayStation would be ending its regular printed publication with the March 2020 issue, Compile Heart revealed that they would be announcing a new game in the final issue as a sendoff to the magazine. Today, Compile Heart president Norihisa Kochiwa gave more details on the game, saying that it will be the final numbered game in a popular series of theirs.

According to Kochiwa, Compile Heart has decided to ‘head to the finale’ together with Dengeki PlayStation, and so this will be the conclusive final game in the series. At the very end of the video, the letter ‘F’ in a special font is shown off.

While the letter ‘F’ may make people think of the company’s Galapagos RPG series, which includes games like Fairy Fencer F, it could also simply be a short form of ‘Final’. Other popular Compile Heart series includes the Neptunia series (which is also seen in the background of the video, blurred out), and the Genkai Tokki series of RPGs.

The final numbered game in one of Compile Heart’s popular series will be announced in Dengeki PlayStation’s March 2020 final issue, which releases on March 28, 2020.
