Collect Namco Bandai’s Naruto and fighting game PS2 collections

narutogh.jpgMortal Kombat, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, and even Harry Potter games were bundled together and resold as a cheaper collection of PlayStation 2 games. Many retailers suggest Namco Bandai is planning a similar strategy with two PlayStation 2 collections scheduled to come out in September. The Naruto Ultimate Collection is reportedly a bundle of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2, and Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles to be sold at most places for $29.99. Tekken Tag Tournament, Tekken 4, and Soulcalibur II are getting wrapped together under the name Namco Classic Fighter Collection also priced at $29.99.

All of these games are sold individually as Greatest Hits titles carrying a MSRP of $19.99. Some of titles like Tekken Tag Tournament are easy to find for much less if you don’t mind a used copy which makes the value of both bundles somewhat questionable.
