By The nukes have fallen, blanketing the planet in nuclear rain, and the only thing left is to kill the person responsible at the top of a tower filled with traps, lethal AI, junkies, and monstrous bosses in Synth-Punk roguelike action game Black Future ‘88.
In this grim, pixellated action game, players can choose from five different characters based on their varied abilities, doing so alone or in co-op as they ascend the procedurally-generated tower. They won’t just have their starting abilities and powers along the journey, though, as players can discover fifty different weapons, as well as over thirty curses and buffs that will shape how their combat style shapes up.
If the tower does not prove hard enough, daily challenges will allow players to try especially difficult areas, and all so they can vie for a spot on the global leaderboards.
Black Future ‘88 is slated for release in 2018, according to its Steam Page.
