Class Of Heroes Gets A Second Semester

image When Atlus announced Class of Heroes I wondered why they trademarked the title. They don’t go on trademark sprees and register names for every game they localize. Typically, only key series with sequels and games from their parent company have their titles trademarked. Acquire only announced one game with the name Ken to Mahou to Gakuen Mono, but now we know they were preparing a sequel behind the scenes. Everything makes sense now!

Famitsu proclaimed Ken to Mahou to Gakuen Mono 2 (Class of Heroes 2), a direct sequel to the PSP game coming out here next month, in due for release in Japan this June. Doesn’t look like Acquire and developer ZeroDiv are going to reinvent the wheel with this sequel. It has the same six party dungeon crawling system with more classes. Now you can explore underground and above ground dungeons with rangers and puppeteers in your party. The sequel will have over 100 race/class combinations to use.

It’s way to early for Atlus to announced Class of Heroes 2, but the name was trademarked for a reason. As long as Class of Heroes sells decently we’ll see the sequel. Speaking of Class of Heroes we heard about some other names Atlus was considering for the series… We’ll have to share those another day.
