Ciel Nosurge DX and Ar Nosurge DX Delayed

The official statement mentioned that Koei Tecmo delayed both Ciel nosurge DX and Ar nosurge DX in order to improve the quality of the finished product. Tsuchiya apologized for the delay and inconvenience this may have caused, but ultimately decided to postpone the release date. He went on to say that the team wants to create the best quality experience and thanked consumers for their understanding.

In early November 2020, gameplay footage was released during a Koei Tecmo broadcast. This featured a segment that showcased how players would communicate with Ion. It was confirmed that the remasters would not feature touch screen support during that segment.

A special limited edition was also announced for Japanese audiences, with the price point for it over $1,000. However, two more affordable limited editions will also be released.

Ciel nosurge DX and Ar nosurge DX will release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in Japan on March 4, 2021.
