Last week, Sony mistakenly indicated that Chrono Trigger would be released as a PS One Classic for download on the U.S. PlayStation Network . While that didn’t end up happening, the game is being released this week in Japan.

Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto made the usual announcement over Twitter today.

Chrono Trigger will be available from September 28th onward, and will cost 1,200 yen.
