China’s Lu Bu Is Badass… Even In A Puzzle Game

He may have been dead for a good long while now but Lu Bu’s reputation (real or imagined) continues to precede him. In the latest way this badass of China’s Romance of the Three Kingdoms era is kicking other people’s ass and taking names, he’s in developer Cygame’s latest puzzle game Three Kingdoms: Puzzle Wars.

Yes, it’s a poorly concealed Puzzle & Dragon clone, mechanics, evolutions and all, but if you’ve grown tired of hitting things in the head with Batman or prefer your Chinese history to be as out-of-this-world as Sengoku Basara (which probably actually wins that fight), then this is probably the game for you.

Three Kingdoms: Puzzle Wars is out for iOS and will be out for Android in the near future.
