Lloyd Bannings and Elie MacDowell, two of the main characters from Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki, are returning as playable characters in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV. They join Tio Plato and Randy Orlando, who appeared in Trails of Cold Steel III. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The leader of the Special Support Section of the Crossbell State Police Department. He’s a hotblooded young man with an indomitable spirit, and solved various incidents alongside the other members of the S.S.S.

 

After Crossbell was invaded, he continued to help the resistance, but became trapped at Mishelam. However, with Rean’s help, he was able to successfully escape.

 

(Lloyd previously appeared in a playable capacity in Trails of Cold Steel II.)

The deputy leader of the S.S.S., and the granddaughter of Henry MacDowell, the Crossbell City mayor. After the invasion of Crossbell, she contacted Alisa and acquaintances in the Empire in order to search for a way to free Crossbell from a political and economical standpoint.

 

KeA Bannings (CV: Rie Kugimiya)

A naive and lovable young girl, who is basically like family to the Special Support Section members. In fact, she’s a homunculus who was created 500 years ago as the “Key of A (All)”.

 

She’s lost all of her powers since, and lives her life as an ordinary girl. However, the Empire still marks her as an key person, and keeps tabs on her.

 

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV releases in Japan on September 27, 2018 for PlayStation 4.
