The theme song is called “Katsubou no Dilemma” (A Longing Dilemma) sung by Rie Takahashi, Yuki Nagaku, and Marika Kouno of the idol group trio Earphone. Gesshoku Kaigi wrote, composed, and arranged the track.
Mary Skelter Finale is a direct sequel of Mary Skelter 2. The opening movie starts out with the protagonist Jack saying “That’s right, we were about to start a new story, together with everyone…” However, just four seconds after they escaped the Jail, Jack and friends were met with a thousand carcasses soaked in a sea of blood, and a new group of enemies called Genocide Pink.
The leader of Genocide Pink is a young girl named Guillotine who might be polite and respectful at first, but she actually has a cruel personality and treats humans as trash. Iron Maiden is another member of Genocide Pink who is obsessed with beauty and the pleasure of destroying such beauty. Lastly, there’s Gallows who might seem like the most “normal” one but she actually has a warped personality and looks for ways to mess with others.
Mary Skelter Finale will release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on October 8, 2020. You can read more about Genocide Pink and the Babymare System in our previous report.
