Capcom has announced Monster Hunter World: Iceborne‘s most and least hunted monster. The Zinogre is the most hunted monster, whereas the Brute Tigrex is the least hunted monster. To commemorate the standings of both monsters, two unique quests will be added to Iceborne this month. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The reveal came through the official Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Twitter. This announcement was preceded by a poll that lets users guess from a select list as to which were most and least hunted.
As mentioned above, to unique quests will be available this October to celebrate both monsters. Players who participate in the unique Zinogre event will receive copious amounts of Dragonvein Coal. This event will begin on October 16, 2020.
Conversely, the Brute Tigrex event will reward players with loads of armor spheres. The Brute Tigrex event will begin on October 23, 2020. No end date was mentioned regarding either series of quests. However, players will receive tickets for layered armor as an additional reward for participation.
Unlike the previous most and least hunted list that was released in May of 2020, Capcom aggregated this data throughout Iceborne‘s lifespan. Previously, the Zinogre and Brute Tigrex took second place on each of their respective lists.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
