Disgaea 7 C4 Character Video

Ceefour is a Disgaea 7 Explosion Maniac

The next character trailer from Disgaea 7 introduces Ceefour (which could be romanized as “Seefour”, “C4,” or “Shee-For”), a mysterious and maniacal lover of all things explosive. Like the party boy Shogun of Oedo, Weyasu, Ceefour is one of the game’s main cast members. She’s voiced by Rina Kitagawa, who voiced Lunafreya Nox Fleuret in Final Fantasy XV, Cure Honey in HappinessCharge Precure, and Saya Kogatana from Keijo!!!!!!!.

Via the official website, Ceefour is described as an up-and-coming personality in the Hinomoto Netherworld. She is actually a phantom thief, and goes by the name “Mouse☆Girl”. She robs rich folk with connections to the unpopular Oedo Shogunate, and her Robin Hood antics have endeared her to the public. She’s normally got a carefree and ditzy streak, but changes personality abruptly when she’s confronted with weapons, explosions, or the smell of gunpowder. She’s so hooked on gunsmoke, in fact, that she starts feeling sick without it. Throughout Disgaea 7 Ceefour collects the “Makai Shinki,” a series of Netherworldly artifacts. She says they’re for her “research.”

The Ceefour trailer also shows off her phantom thief outfit and one of her signature attacks, “Ecstasy Bomb.” Ceefour runs through a crowd of foes, throwing grenades every which way. She then savors the explosions from afar. Another super move on her character page shows her firing a rocket launcher, sticking her leg out like one of the mariachis from the 1995 film Desperado.

Disgaea 7 launches on January 26, 2023 in Japan on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5.
