Disgaea fans surely recognize Prinny, the series mascot character, and probably have seen Pringer X before too. The Netherworld has all kinds of Prinnies like the Pudding Prinny and Cat Prinny which will be in a browser game tied to Disgaea 5.

Prinny Research Squad will have players travel the universe in search of items and while you’re exploring the depths of the Netherworld you may see some unusual Prinnies.

Nippon Ichi Software is asking fans to submit their ideas for Prinnies. Starting today and until December 7, you can enter by following the @nis_prinny Twitter account and tweeting a Prinny drawing plus the Prinny’s name to the hashtag #プリニー調査団. You can also submit a drawing on this page. Expect to see lots of strange Prinnies in January when Prinny Research Squad is live in Japan.

 

Disgaea 5 comes out on March 26 for PlayStation 4 in Japan.
