Victor Entertainment has announced that pre-registration for the DMM Games’ PC version of Cardcaptor Sakura Repaint Record has opened up. Note that players will need to install the DMM Games launcher in order to play it. This is similar to the Windows PC version of Uma Musume: Pretty Derby. [Thanks, Gamer!]
If you pre-register for the DMM Games version of the game, you’ll receive a 10-roll ticket that guarantees a costume. Additionally, depending on the number of people who pre-register, Victor Entertainment will hand out free jewels, capping out at a 5-star gacha ticket at 10,000 people.
Cardcaptor Sakura Repaint Record is a puzzle game in a similar vein to Candy Crush or Bejeweled. It involves players connecting jewels of the same color in order to erase them and get points. There is also a story mode as you advance through the stages. The story mode follows the same gist of Clear Card-hen rather than a game-original plot.
This is not the first mobile game that focuses on Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen. Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen Happiness Memories was a game that allowed players to reproduce the multiple costumes that Sakura wears throughout the series, as well as decorate their space. Happiness Memories ended service on June 30, 2020.
Cardcaptor Sakura Repaint Record is currently available on mobile devices in Japan. The DMM Games version will be available worldwide and pre-registration is currently open.
