Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions got an extended trailer that showcases more iconic and flashy moves from more characters.
Check out the new trailer from Bandai Namco below:
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions’ anime-like graphics come from its toon-shaded look and realistic effects. The developers focused on the detailed presentation of every style from each of the popular characters. That means not only will we see Tsubasa jumping off goal posts, but we’ll see all the other insane moves from all characters. We even get to see the “Airborne Acrobatic Duo” Tachibana Brosout with their tag-team special.
As for the gameplay, it is a high-speed “arcade football action” game. This allows for a faster game pace to go with the flashy special moves that we get to see in the trailer.
We also get to see some of the story elements that include coaches and other supporting characters from the series. As previously reported, the story mode changes based on what happens during your matches. This will show parts that never happened i the original work including character interactions. For example, if a game ends in a penalty shootout then this will reflect in the story as well.
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in 2020. Check out info on special skills, dribbles, the V Zone system, and more here.
