Capcom announced it will discontinue sales of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD for mobile devices in Japan. Consumers will have until June 9, 2022 to purchase the game and extra scenarios. However, Capcom has stated that Android and iOS users who purchase Ace Attorney Trilogy HD before it discontinues sales will be able to access the game. That said, there are some stipulations. [Thanks, Gamer!]
For example, iOS users will have access to any in-game content they have purchased, regardless of the game being discontinued. However, Android users will only have access to content that has been downloaded to their phone before Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD is discontinued on mobile devices. Both versions will allow for consumers to obtain achievements and to re-download the app if it has been uninstalled. Save data for the title cannot be recovered once the game is discontinued from app stores though.
However, Capcom does plan to release the similarly named Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy for Android and iOS devices sometime in the future. This is the version of the game that was re-released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD is available for Android and iOS devices in Japan but will be discontinued on June 9, 2022. An English version is available for iOS.
