These Evangelion items will be available at both existing Capcom Cafe locations at Aeon Lake Town in Saitama and Q Plaza Ikebukuro in Tokyo, starting from April 23, 2021. Sales of the items will end on May 20, 2021, in Saitama, and June 3, 2021, in Tokyo. The cafe chain previously held collaborations with various titles, such as Monster Hunter and Devil May Cry.

This collaboration is to celebrate the release of Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time, which sold over 2 million tickets and grossed 3.3 billion yen in its first week in Japan. The promotion for the anime movie still continues with a series of reels showcasing characters from the title.
