Taito also published a new Japanese official trailer for Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron is Back! on the Bub’s Broadcast channel. The trailer gives a rundown of Bubble Bobble 4 Friends‘ gameplay system while also introducing the new features added with the PS4 port.

The Baron is Back! adds 100 new stages for a grand total of 200 stages. It will also add the highly-requested Online Ranking, where players worldwide can compete for high scores in every stage available in the game, including the new stages and the Arcade modes.

The trailer also mentioned that a 4-person multiplayer is also available on the PS4 version of Bubble Bobble 4 Friends locally when each player brings their own controller. However, it is still yet to be confirmed whether the multiplayer is also available online or not.
