Broforce Comes Out For PC On October 15th, PlayStation 4 In 2016

Devolver Digital has announced that all-American shooter-platformer, and so-called “freedom simulator,” Broforce (made by South Africans, funnily enough) will be for PC on October 15th. It’ll also be coming to PlayStation 4 in 2016.

After many months in Early Access, all of the features that developer Free Lives want in the game are, well, now in the game. To celebrate that fact, a collaboration with musician Deon van Heerden has resulted in the Freedom EP – a five-track album of Broforce music including The Ballad of Rambro (watch above) and the Broforce Theme.

The Freedom EP is free to anyone who owns the Early Access version of Broforce (until October 15th). After the game is released it’ll then be sold at a price.

Broforce has you playing as a series of famous bros from pop culture (see the full list of Bros) as they rally against a terrorist force using brute force and a lot of guns to take them down. Included are lots of missions, fully-destructible environments, a level editor and level sharing, and online and local multiplayer for up to four players with co-op campaign and deathmatch modes included.
