Square Enix producer Tomoya Asano recently stated that he’d like to continue releasing a new Bravely game each year, but it doesn’t seem like he’s getting too ahead of himself just yet, as he has briefly mentioned the importance of how the second game will affect the future of the series.
During a special end-of-year interview with 151 developers, 4Gamer asks the Bravely Default and Bravely Second producer to share some of his thoughts going into the year 2014.
“I believe that the future of the Bravely series will really depend on the success of Bravely Second,” states Asano. “With that in mind, the year 2014 will be a very important year. Without forgetting the major premise of making a good game, I’d like to keep doing more, so please keep an eye out for us!”
Bravely Second is currently in development for Nintendo 3DS.
