Over the weekend, Success and Studio Saizensen held a demo event for their upcoming competitive grappling game Umihara Kawase BaZooKa!!, where it was revealed that the Cotton line of shoot ’em up games will get a completely new game in 2021. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

You might remember that Beep is also developing Cotton Reboot, a port of the original Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams with a brand-new arrange mode. That game will release in Summer 2020, while this one will be a completely new game.
According to the poster, this is quite a sudden announcement, even for Success. Meanwhile, Cotton will be voiced by Nami Miyaki.
A brand new Cotton series game is in development, aiming for a 2021 release.
