This week’s Famitsu magazines brought both good news and bad. You’ve seen some of the good already. Now, it’s time for the bad…namely, canceled games. Lots of canceled games.

Most of the canceled titles in Famitsu are from Hudson, who recently closed down their U.S. division, Hudson Entertainment. The full list of cancellations as follows:

Hudson

Bass Fishing Life (PS3)

Bomberman (PS3)

Deca Sports 4 (Wii)

Omega Five (3DS)

Bonk (3DS)

Bomberman 3DS (3DS)

Bonk: Brink of Extinction (PS3 / Xbox 360)

Now Production

Unnamed RPG (PS3)

Distribution software (PS3)

Unnamed action game (Nintendo DS)

Konami

RPG 1 (Wii)

RPG 2 (Wii)

Now Production developed the Bakugan Battle Brawlers games, which Activision published in North America. However, in Japan they are also a publisher of language training software for the Nintendo DS, Practical Intelligence Quotient series, and the PSP horror game Higan Island.

The most detailed of these games was Bonk: Brink of Extinction. Hudson brought a playable build to several tradeshows including E3 and Comic-Con 2010. We spoke with the developer Pi Studios about Bonk’s 2.5 debut and you can read that interview here.
