Mio Hirahara, another character from the Blue Reflection Ray anime, will appear in Blue Reflection: Second Light. Like many of the other people who will show up in the Heartscape, she has no idea how she got there and is suffering from amnesia. However, she does still remember her little sister, Hiori.
Koei Tecmo’s announcement also touched a bit more on the mysterious nature of the game. In Blue Reflection: Second Light, Ao Hoshizaki and a number of other young woman find themselves in another world. They’ve lost some of their memories and have no idea how they got there. Time also might be of the essence, as there’s a crack in the sky. In the case of Mio, she arrives after the rest of the Blue Reflection: Second Light cast for some reason.
This isn’t unusual. Quite a few characters from past Blue Reflection properties are showing up in Blue Reflection: Second Light. For example, there’s Hinako Shirai. She’s the original game’s heroine, and she plays a major role in this sequel. Hiori Hirahara, Mio’s little sister who also debuted in Blue Reflection Ray is also a member of the cast.
In addition to the character reveal, Koei Tecmo took to its Twitter account to go over how dating characters will get you Talent Materials needed to build your party members up.
Through fulfilling requests and going out on dates with friends from the academy in #BLUEREFLECTION: Second Light, you will receive Talent Points which can be used to strengthen characters.https://t.co/1mBEcYxc0q#BFSecondLight #KTFamily pic.twitter.com/N3MaugUiDR
