After teasing an update last week, Bandai Namco announced that it will hold a network test Blue Protocol and share more details. An informational stream will be held on November 15, 2022. It will be watchable on YouTube and will give more details about the upcoming experience.
Back in April 2020, a closed beta test was held for Blue Protocol. The beta allowed participants to try out the game’s then-four classes: Aegis Fighter, Twin Striker, Blast Archer, and Spell Caster. Bandai Namco released a player feedback report shortly after its conclusion. A second test, this time a matchmaking stress test, was held in November 2020.
The upcoming stream marks the first major development update for Blue Protocol since May 2021. A stream back then revealed Heavy Smasher as a fifth character class and introduced Joint Gestures. Just a few days after the stream, a teaser video for the game’s opening was uploaded. The 30-second teaser showed short clips of animation and gameplay, all while the opening theme played over it.
A network test for Blue Protocol will be held sometime in the future. More information about the test will appear on November 15, 2022. The game is in development for PCs in Japan, though it currently has no release window.
