Blow a Kiss With New Monster Hunter Rise Gesture

Monster Hunter Rise Somnacanth

A new event quest in Monster Hunter Rise will give players the opportunity to earn a new gesture called “Blowing a Kiss.” It is exactly what it says on the tin. By visiting Senri the Mailman, players can download the seven-star quest “I Can’t Do What Somnacan” and hunt the Somnacanth in the Frost Islands.

The quest has a time limit of 50 minutes and offers 10080 Zenny as a reward. As one might expect from the frosty locale, the Somnacanth takes higher damage from fire and thunder elements. Similar to the “Haste Makes Waste” event quest, it garners a special reward other than the usual monster loot. As a reminder, Haste Makes Waste rewards players with a recipe for the Cunning Specs, which allows your character to wear glasses.
